Here is a quick description and cover image of book The Witches of Snyder Farms (The Wicked Garden, #2) written by Lenora Henson which was published in September 13, 2013. Brief Summary of Book: The Witches of Snyder Farms (The Wicked Garden, #2) by Lenora Henson Whether the power of this seductive play between invisibility and narcissism is enough for spinning a web of love, and whether the possibilities to relate to, and fall for, each other by just communicating online succeed over the possibilities, imaginations and desires created in physical space, is one of the fundamental themes of this story. In Love Virtually, the power that love has on the two main characters is crucially linked with the ‘purity’ that comes from the absence of a physical body and the involvement of individual imagination and desires projected upon an invisible other. The book presents a story full of interesting thoughts regarding love relationships in the Internet and regarding the power that love has on people, especially if they web their bonds of love through electronic communication. This might remind of the movie You’ve got mail but the story leads the reader in a complete different direction. A relationship webbed by and through emails. The novel presents a turbulent and passionate love story that – how else could it be – takes place in the Internet. Now the novel written by Daniel Glattauer will be published in English in the beginning of February 2011. Alfaguara) and has quickly become very successful. None of these actions makes Yaz feel better-if anything, they make her feel worse-but she isn’t sure how to fix the mess she’s made. Worst of all, Yaz leaves lunch early so she can remove Debby’s picture from the Stars of the Week board, which breaks Debby’s heart. When their friends talk about how much like Debby’s dogs those in their drawings look, Yaz spills her drink on their pictures. When Debby saves her a seat at lunch, Yaz ignores her and sits elsewhere. Overcome by jealousy, Yaz starts acting unkindly toward both her friends and herself. Things get even worse when Yaz’s teacher, Miss Pimmy, hangs Debby’s picture of a dog on the Stars of the Week board but doesn’t notice Yaz’s drawing at all. When Yaz draws the best picture she’s ever drawn in her life, she’s excited-until she realizes that everyone in her class is paying attention to her friend Debby’s drawing and not hers. Nino is an enigmatic character, he is restrained and very straight-forward about who he is and what he will want from you. Kiara has to also live with Nino’s brothers who are not always as controlled as he is and I think that there were some very interesting interactions between them, especially with Remo, I like that the dynamic shifts a little the more she is around. Thankfully it did the trick, there was a lot about this book that I was not at all expecting, there were some slightly heavier themes but there was also more of a complex relationship to explore which I enjoyed.Īn arranged marriage trope in this kind of romance book is always entertaining because you know it’s going to make for a pretty interesting getting to know you stage and in this case it worked so well, putting two very opposite people together in this intense and crazy family is asking for trouble in both the good and the bad ways. After reading about Nino in the first book in this series I was definitely intrigued for his story and was hoping that it would have a little bit more of the spark that I was searching for in Twisted Loyalties.
